I have finally finished writing this pattern in 20 sizes!!! yes it will fit your new baby right through to his Big Daddy!
To celebrate I have decided to run a contest - the prize being 1 skein of the extremely nummy Fleece Artist Somoko in the Ebony colourway which I used on both of the vests in the photo.
What do you have to do??
Come up with a name for this vest pattern - something memorable, catchy, geeky whatever - I will know it when I see it, if more than one person comes up with the same winning name there will be a draw.
Winner will be announced in 2 weeks time - by which time the tech editing will be finished and the pattern will be ready to go!

"Graham"
I think you should call it the "Little Big Man Cardigan"
the picture is so cute, it reminded me of male bonding, so how about "Bonding" or "Bonded"?
"Father n Son" or "huggable"
Acorn to Oak
hints at the idea of the range of sizes, and the texture of the cables makes me think of the texture of acorn caps and tree bark. =)
lovely pattern, and thanks for this chance to win!

wee little to He Man Vest. From patricialonnie.
Both the color and the design are quite handsome. darling baby boy for sure.
I thinnk a fitting name would be "Growing Up" since you stated it goes from baby to daddy size.
Lovely design and thanks for the contest.
I quite like the pattern you use.
"The Fisherman's Son" for the baby's version.
The pattern in the closeup looked a little like scales to me and I had a vague vision of a fisherman working together with his son in the darkness before dawn prepping the ship. So for the pair - "The Fisherman's and the Fisherman's Son"?
Of course, there is always something like "When I grow up..." or "Chip off the old block"

Well, it's Maori language week so I'm going to throw a couple of Maori options into the mix. Tama: son or boy; Tane: man, male or husband.
Love the pix too. Just lovely. Helen T
I suggest..."Hey Big Dadddy"
Lovely pattern.
" dude knit " those teeny feet in that big hand look so sweet...... i am babushkablue on rav.......
I love the rustic, simple beauty of these vests and that you've made the pattern with such a wide variety of sizes. It reminds me of something that a hobbit would wear, but seeing how it would also fit dwarves, elves and even those kind-hearted souls rivaling cave trolls in size perhaps you should name it the "Middle Earth" vest.
Pattern looks a bit like chain mail, so I would call it 'Galahad'
Boy to Man.
How many guesses can we have, so many things come to mind.
I think "Vested Interest" suits it.
It is a lovely pattern and they both look handsome in their matching vests.
