JustJussi has adopted a rat...that's right a rat. Our rat's name is Nala and she is a specially trained TB detection rat (isn't science wonderful)? Nala can detect TB just by sniffing sputum samples and she is so clever that she can check 40 samples in 7 minutes!
Nala has been trained by the wonderful people at
Apopo.org who are coming up with low tech solutions to deadly problems in the third world.
