I haven't tried all of the yarns you guys mentioned, there are some I am definitely going to look out for in future.
This weeks pattern is Big Love! the new release, a hoodie with a small amount of fairisle which is suitable for boys and girls. The photos are on the previous post.

ok, this weeks question...
"when you have the chance to sit down and knit, where is your favourite place to do so?"
When I finish this post I am curling up on the sofa in my studio, I can see the garden and the sun is starting to come around this side of the house, it's comfy, theres a windowsill to perch my tea on but mostly I will be sitting there because...someone else is sitting on my chair!

I sit on my comfy leather love sit, feet up on bench, with my coffee beside me on the table with all(not really) knitting patterns.

ooopppss I meant love seat. Apparently I got so excited I missed the right letters.

on my couch, with either a good movie, or good music playing. With my pattern resting on the arm of the couch :)

p.s. just finished my first aviatrix and loved it!
In our sunny conservatory on the couch, usually with a cat flopped against me reminding me not to accidentally dangle any wool in his direction.

If i'm at my parents house I'm always in one of their super comfy lazy-boys in front of the TV! At my house I'm either in a chair out on the deck or in my armchair inside with a good movie on :)

So funny!! Thank you, Jussi, and thank you random number generator :)
We recently got a recliner, so I like that, otherwise it's right in front of my laptop so I can chat while I knit or crochet...
My usual place to knit is my corner of the sofa but my favorite place to knit is at our fabulous LYS (Holland Road Yarn Company), especially on Thursday for knit night. What better place to knit than somewhere surrounded by gorgeous yarn, in fantastic company and with a cuppa and sweet treats :-)

Nothing better then curled up on the sofa, with something good to watch on TV, or even just Kerrang. A fresh, steaming hot cup of tea made by my wonderful husband is beside me. The kids are in bed or playing in the dining room. The rhytmic motion and clicky clack of the knitting needles is hypnotic. Best thing ever.
Other wise, in bed where its warm on a cold windy night.
I often sit at table either inside or on balcony but occasionally sit on leather lounge. Pattern in front of me if needed, preferably on my Kindle. Since selling my former home, I'm still experimenting where to sit. There I sat at redwood table at outside covered deck. Haven't found anywhere quite to my liking here yet.
Just finishing another aviatrix hat, this one for a newborn in cold Canadian winter. Thanks for such a nicely written pattern in so many sizes. This one will soon be on its way to Canada.
I sit in the comfy recliner that I share with Scooby, the cockapoo member of the family.

My favorite place to knit actually is the car. I seem to always be waiting for someone - so out comes the knitting - just me and my knitting - no distractions!

In my armchair in the livingroom--with a favorite TV drama on!

Actually, just set up my new knitting place. I've got my grannie's old teal chair and matching footstool, her old-fashioned side table with a lamp. Cozy as can be at night!
