Free Friday - favourite storage tip

first things first - this week's winner is Ballatrina (will gift the pattern to you on Rav)

We all like to find a comfy spot and surround ourselves with our favourite things when knitting...they all sound like bliss to me!
This weeks pattern is The garter stitch plain and simple e-book, this contains 8 simple garter st patterns for babies 0- 2 years.

Housekeeping:
- please include your Ravelry name or your email address (can space it out to avoid spambots)
- I will gift the pattern via Ravelry, if you do not belong to Rav I will email the .pdf to you
- winner (s) are drawn sometime on Friday, this means "Friday afternoon/evening New Zealand time"
- the winner (s) are chosen by random number generator (I use this one)
- you may enter even if you have won before

ok, this weeks question...(since it is spring here and time for me to tidy up my studio again)
"what is your cutest/favourite/coolest storage idea for anything craft related e.g. needles, dpns, yarn, ribbons, st markers etc.?"

Storage suggestion: One day I would love to have all my yarn displayed in skeins in glass fronted cupboards/bookshelves like Carin from Round the Twist with Carin

I love those cap sleeves!

Storage, storage, storage... Hm. Cloth holders for needles and hooks, I think. Some of the fabrics are really lovely. Boxes with compartments for buttons. Pencil case for notions.

I really want to do something interesting for my growing collection of buttons, but haven't found the right thing yet.

I use a 'lifesavers' cardboard cylinder pencil case to store my crochet hooks (a promotion from the lolly company) but much more appropriate for my essential tools!

I love clear plastic bags with zippers - like the ones from knit picks or the ones that some new bedding comes in.

Thanks for sending me the PDF!
My favourite storage idea is to put needles in different tin cans, which have been emptied and cleaned out obviously! Being silver makes them look good on a desk. I also love the idea of a hanging system for circular needles so they don't get all tangled up! I've seen one that's hanging off a regular coat hanger which i'm dying to try :)
